Walker was just 6 days new and came a long, long way to have his first photographs taken. He was a curious little fella. It took quite a few tries, but once he was asleep, he did amazing! congrats on your new little bundle of joy, mom and dad:)

she was such a good girl for her photo shoot, i must say i was impressed!! look at those big beautiful eyes! and she had the most adorable parents as well:)

well, as a photographer, i was super pumped at the thought of having my own little live in newborn model. little did i know that i would lack the time and energy to do my little guys pics! who would have thought it would be close to impossible to get good pics of your own little one:/
so here it is..... emmitts very first session at 11 days old.....

i know, right?! lol

and here he is at 7 weeks

 

 

welcome baby emmitt:)

well, i am so proud to announce the arrival of my second son, emmitt levi. he shares a birthday with his big brother, trey....july 9. emmitt weighed 6lbs 10oz and was 18 1/2 inches long. he had a head full of golden hair... he was truly perfect:)

 

 

Poras, Poras, Poras!

If you know me, then you know my endless love for Poras Chaudhary's work. Nevermore, has an artist captured my mind, body and soul as a whole such as he. If I never venture to India, may he know he has satisfied my hunger for the culture through his timeless photographs.

I first fell in love with Poras while stumbling across his documentation of a festival in India, called Holi. This is a beautiful, colorful, and lively celebration.

Everytime i look at his work, i cant help but to imagine myself  a sweatty mess in the middle of all this colorfullness paying tribute to the festival and all it stands for. I could sit here all night, showing examples of his work and never run out of favorites. Oh Holi, how you make me yearn for adventure in your unfamiliar land.
